EDEC 453 - STEM for EC Professionals (Birth to age 5)

In this course, EC students will focus on developmentally appropriate, research-based curriculum, methods, and assessment in early childhood STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) including fundamental content and concepts of mathematics and the sciences.  With an emphasis on intentionality, students will examine the integration of engineering and technology into math and science and develop integrated, high quality, authentic STEM experiences which focus on exploration and investigation of authentic content and materials based on state and national content standards. 45 Hours of Lab Required.
