THTR 203 - Stagecraft II: Scenery and Props

A continuation of the fundamental theories of costuming, lighting, scenery, sound, video, and properties with a focus on scenery and properties. Additional topics include safety, budgeting and purchasing, developing schedules, technical direction, stage management, and special effects. Students devise practical applications for current department sponsored productions and visiting artists’ performances. Individually arranged lab hours are required, rather than emphasis on textbook assignments. $75 Course Fee
