EDU 597A - Fine Arts Methods of Teaching K-12

This course takes teacher candidate skills and abilities in Fine Arts (Drama, Art, and Music) and helps them to be able to share their skills with students. Aspects of how to navigate new perspectives on fine arts topics are developed. How to use the presentation of the factual aspects of fine arts to lay the foundation for the expression of self and views through the art are shared.  Understanding the balance of following elements of the artistic process and then adding purposeful expression to the art are included.  Art in a historical and social context are also covered.
